Setting It Up
Be safe: disconnect the battery and release fuel pressure. Make sure the pump fits right and doesn’t leak.
The fuel lines, filters, injectors, and regulators should match the pump. If they don’t, things won’t work well.
Change the fuel filters to keep things from getting clogged. Also, check the tank for dirt, which can hurt the pump. Keep the wires in good shape.
