Toledo, Spain.
Juan Patrón, a Colombian entrepreneur and diplomat, was distinguished as a gentleman by the House of Bourbon, in recognition of his decades dedicated to social work, helping communities with limited resources and accompanying wounded soldiers, among other charitable causes.
The decoration was awarded by Francis of Bourbon during a solemn ceremony held at the Palace of Toledo, where Patron received the veneration of Knight of Grace of the Military Order of St. Lazarus, one of the oldest historical humanitarian orders in Europe.
This recognition highlights the constant work of Juan Patrón in social and humanitarian initiatives, both in Spain and in other countries, as well as his commitment to the well-being of the most vulnerable communities.

“I feel super proud of it. People know how much I love to improve my community,” said Patrón after receiving the distinction, stressing that this honor represents an impulse to continue his social and solidarity work.
The Military Order of San Lázaro is internationally recognized for its focus on humanitarian aid, social assistance and the promotion of service values, turning this decoration into a recognition of high symbolic and social value.
